Birthday Card

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone's Monday is going well.  Mine is!! I was able to make a cute birthday card for a family member!  I hope she likes it!!!

All cardstock used was DCWV.  The two patterned papers are from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack.  The cupcake is from Everyday Paper Dolls cut at 3 3/4" and I just cut 2 of them and cut the bottom off and attached it to the top.  The pink satin ribbon is from Walmart.  The stamps are from Stampin' Ups Birthday Bakery line that I got for being a hostess!  They were both stamped in Rich Razzleberry.  I used my blender pen and the Stampin' Up Pastels in Pink Passion, Positively Pink, and Pretty in Pink for the tag on the envelope.  The stitching was done with a white pigment ink pen from signo.  I hope everyone has a great week and thank you for taking the time to visit me!!!!

"Sports" theme Throwback Thursday Challenge.

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I'm a big fan of Emma's over at My Creative Time and she has a Throwback Thursday Challenge that's sports themed.  The requirements for the challenge are that it must be original, sports theme, use any older cartridge as long as its sports related, and linked to her site.  Click here if you'd like to take part in her challenge and see her videos.   Here's what I did.

The base is white cardstock from walmart cut at 6 1/4" x 9".  The baseball layer is from Best Creations and it has some sparkle on it and it was cut at 6" x 4 1/4".  The baseball players were from the Baseball cartridge and were cut out of green and black core'dinations cardstock at 3 1/2".  The words "play ball!" are also from the Baseball cart and were cut at 1".  Thank you for coming to my blod and I hope the rest of your weekend is a great one!

Color Challenge From My Pink Stamper Live

Hi everyone!
I have been busy lately getting Christmas Cards done for my family and last night I took some time out to watch My Pink Stampers' Live Broadcast.  It was a lot of fun to watch them and if you would like to watch the Live Broadcast click here!  The challenge was to make something using the colors pink, purple, and green.  So here's what I made:

The blue base and the green grass are from a multicolored cardstock pack from Walmart!  The base was cut at 4 1/2in x 9in.  The green grass was cut from my gypsy and its measured at 6 1/4in x 4 1/2in.  The butterfly and its layer are from the Disney Pooh and Friends Cart cut at 3 1/2in.  The pink sating ribbon is from Walmart and I used My Pink Stampers Cheater Method to attach it to the base.  The butterfly was popped up using 3M foam tape.  I then stickled the butterfly using Coffee Ice Stickles.  The "I miss you" stamp was from a stamp set from Joann's.  Sorry I don't know the manufacturer.  Thank you for your time in stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.  Comments are welcome!!

Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!
I have been working on my Christmas Cards and I made a few of these. I had so much fun making these!

The card base is white cardstock from Target cut at 9in by 6 1/4in.  The next layer is a red cardstock from my scarp paper stash cut at 4 1/4in by 6in.  The next layer is a shimmer white paper I picked up at a scrapbook expo from a retailer (forgot their name too!), cut at 4in by 5 3/4in.  I then cuttlebugged 3/4 of that layer with a Sizzix snowflake embossing folder.  The ribbon I bought from a garage sale.  It was a very old ribbon that I thought looked very vintage.  The tree I cut using my gypsy from the Paper Doll Dress Up cart at 3.5in.  I then popped the tree up with pop dots and stickled the tree using Diamond, Xmas Red, Golden Rod, and Green.  The Merry Christmas stamp is from Stampin' Ups Season's Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Black by a la mode ink.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a Great Day!

Cute Card Challenge

Hi Everyone!
I hope your week is going well.  My week has been pretty good so far.  This is a card I made for My Pink Stamper's Card Challenge.  All it has to be is cute and I think this card is really cute!

The girl was cut at 3.5 inches and she's from the Everyday Paper Dolls cart.  All of her accessories were cut to match.  I then used a 1 in. face from Peachy Keen's Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment.  I colored the cheeks in with Stampin' Up Pastels in Blush Blossom.  All paper was out of my scrap bin except for the background paper that was from the DCWV Stack 7.  The ribbon is a brown satin from Walmart.  I crumpled the leaves up and then rubbed them in Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap, and dried the leaves with my heat tool.  I then popped the girl and the leaves up with pop dots.  The "Autumn Blessings" stamp was from a pack by Inkadinkado from Joann's.  Thank you all for visiting my blog and I hope you all have a great week!!!

Snowman Card

Hi everyone!
I hope you all are having a great Sunday!  I have been very busy this weekend.  I hosted a scrapbooking day at my house.  So yesterday, a few ladies came over to scrap, and get other projects done.  I got a lot done.  I made 25 Cards for Soldiers.  If you would like to make some cards for soldiers just go to the cricut website at www.cricut.com and click on community and scroll down to Cards for Soldiers..  You don't have to do as many as I did or you can do more.  Its completely up to you!  I just enjoy making cards for our men and women over seas who are fighting for my freedom. Anyways, I also completed a brag book for my mom of my daughter.  So I feel like I accomplished a lot!

Here is a card I made for My Pink Stamper's Saturday Challenge.  I had a lot of fun making this card and I didn't even use the cricut.  Can you believe that?  I can't believe it either.  All paper was from DCWV Textured Christmas Mat Stack.  The snow globe, snowman, and snowflakes are all stamps from Stampin' Up.  I colored the images in with colored pencils.  The satin ribbon is 5/8" from Walmart.  And then I tied a simple bow.  Very simple and cute!  Thank you so much for visiting me and I hope your week goes well!
