Hi all,
A lot has happened in my life in the last year. I wont go into details for my privacy and for the privacy of all of my family, friends, and other people involved. I have had to stop crafting and pack up and move. I know. I am sad too. I try and do one crafty thing a month and sometimes I get to it and sometimes I don't. I am going to try and get everything back together in about a year and start really crafting again. I can't wait and I know my beloved cricut can't either since it's collecting dust in a bag under my bed. Yes, I keep it very close to me. Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you all the best! Until next time...........

Princess Castle

Hi Everyone,
I hope your weekend has been a great one.  Here in my neck of the woods it's been a bit warm but mother nature has decided to cool down to the mid 80's!!  Okay, my DD is going to be 4 in a couple of weeks so I decided to get started on the goodie bags, crowns, wands, and this castle!  It's from the Once Upon a Princess Cart.  I cut everything at 8inches and I used DCWV cardstock.  I did have to use my gypsy in order to get all of the tower tops on the mat.  I will bling it up a bit before the party but I wanted everyone to see it because it looks like something that's very difficult to do in the book but it's truly not.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!!

Sweetheart Card

Hi All,
I can't believe it!  I got my papercrafting mojo back!!!! LOL!!  For some reason I had major crafting block. If you know what I mean.  It sucks.  I would sit down, look at all my stuff and not feel inspired.  Been there?  I got 5 new cartridges from my DH for Christmas (Once Upon a Princess, Doodlecharms, Cindy Loo, Storybook, and Wild Cards) and they have just been sitting there.  I know, I know, I am ashamed of myself.  Then yesterday, BAM!!, I snapped out of it and made a ton of cards!  It feels soooo good to be back and I have missed all of you.  This card in particular was made for the First My Pink Stamper Blog Hop.  After you hopped through all of the blogs and saw all of the incredible projects these ladies did and collected the secret code, you were told to make something.  So I did and here's mine!

The paper is all from a value pack I picked up at JoAnn's called Botanical by The Paper Company.  Since the paper was 8.5" by 11", I cut each sheet in half and it gave me 2 cards!!!  The cream paper is cut at 5.25" by 4", then cuttlebugged with the D'Vine Swirl embossing folder.  The "SWEETHEART" cut and heart is cut using the Phrase Creative Feature button from the Once Upon a Princes cartridge and was cut at 1.5".  The hot pink ribbon I got from Walmart and the prima flower and tiny white brad were gifts for Christmas!  Such a totally sweet card.  I hope you all like it!  Thank you for coming to visit me and comments are welcome!!

Emma's Throwback Thursday "Cricut-less" Challenge

Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, it's been crazy around here.  Such is life right?!?!  Anyways, I finally found some time to make a card for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge.  It was kind of hard for me because I was really itching to use my cricut.  One of my dear friends gave me some really cool stamps from D.O.T.S (Dozens of Terrific Stamps) and some stamp pads from Close to my Heart.  So I thought I would try them out and see how they are.

I used a set of 4 stamps from D.O.T.S. that's a rose and a leaf.  The ink I used is from Close to my Heart andthe colors are Primrose and New England Ivy. I used the stamp-off method from Stampin' Up to get the different colors out of the two inks.   These probably aren't colors that are in use anymore, but I haven't checked to find out.  The cardstock is from a pack by Best Occasions that I bought from Walmart.  The pink is out of my scrap stash.  I rounded the corners using a corner rounder and inked up all the edges using Creamy Brown ink from Color Box.  I then popped up the layered image using popdots and the green colored ribbon from Walmart also.  The "Thank You" Sentiment is form a stamp set I bought from JoAnns that was stamped in black ink.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me!  I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!!!
